Living Word Church – Stonewall Campus

Living Word Church, based in Mansville, LA, commissioned Architects Beazley Moliere with Adam Beazley as the Architect of Record and a partner at the firm, to design a new church in the flourishing community of Stonewall, LA. The existing church, operating from a small strip mall, faced urgent space constraints, necessitating a purpose-built campus to meet their needs.

Central to the new campus’ church design was a thoughtfully crafted 300-seat Sanctuary, envisioned as the spiritual heart of the congregation. Accommodating and inclusive, the Church was planned to encompass dedicated Children’s and Youth Ministry Areas, catering to a wide range of age groups, from infants to high school students. Furthermore, a special needs classroom was thoughtfully integrated to ensure a welcoming environment for all members.

Upon entering the new church, visitors are warmly welcomed by a spacious and inviting lobby, thoughtfully positioned between the entrances to the Sanctuary and Children-Youth Check-In Areas. The facility’s layout carefully allocates space to church offices and versatile multi-use areas, making the best use of the available area. The office area is thoughtfully equipped with executive offices and a generously-sized multi-purpose meeting space, conveniently situated adjacent to a service kitchen, facilitating seamless interactions during various church activities. Additionally, this office area has been designed to have direct access to backstage facilities, including the production and green room, with easy connectivity to the sanctuary platform, ensuring smooth coordination during events and services.

The project was completed in December of 2023. As the Architect of Record, Adam Beazley‘s expertise and leadership have been instrumental in shaping a new spiritual home for Living Word Church, an inviting and purposeful space that meets the needs of the growing community in Stonewall, Louisiana.
