Our Savior’s Church
This design project for Our Savior’s Church began in 2000 under the leadership of my father, Charles Beazley. With his guidance, the design of the first campus came to life, encompassing a sanctuary, nursery, and church offices. Set in the picturesque landscape between St. Martinville and Broussard, Louisiana, the design ingeniously integrated a majestic two-hundred-year-old oak tree, thoughtfully organizing the entrance to the church and education buildings.
The campus proudly featured a 13,200 square foot Worship Center, offering seating for 900 worshippers, alongside a 9,360 square foot education and office building. This initial phase marked the inception of a two-part project, envisioning a harmonious integration of adult and children’s worship spaces with the essential business and administrative offices. Phase one came to fruition in July 2002, encompassing 22,500 square feet of beautifully constructed space, achieved at a total cost of $2.7 Million.
Continuing the legacy, phase two of the Our Savior’s Church Broussard Campus project was realized as the Student Ministry Center. Completed in January 2007, this 12,600 square foot addition comprised two distinct buildings—a children’s building and a student ministry building. The latter boasted a 290-person auditorium, complemented by an inviting lobby and reception area. Under Charls’ stewardship, phase two was successfully accomplished at a cost of $1.7 Million.
Now, embracing the spirit of innovation, progress and legacy, phase three now led by Adam Beazley, envisions a grand new lobby entrance that seamlessly merges the once-separated Education center and Sanctuary spaces. This exciting transformation features dynamic elements, including high vaulted ceilings and long span glue-laminated beams, to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for both new visitors and regular attenders. Your father’s enduring vision has set the course for this remarkable project, leaving a lasting impact on Our Savior’s Church and the community it serves.
