Beginning in 2007 and throughout the development of this project, Adam Beazley, an integral member of the team at Architects Beazley Moliere, worked closely alongside his father Charles Beazley, the firm’s president, to bring the Lafayette Campus of Our Savior’s Church to fruition.
The Lafayette Campus of Our Savior’s Church took shape with a contemporary design that skillfully combines modern worship elements while maintaining a sacred ambiance. The focus was on accommodating a dynamic worship experience while allowing for sophisticated audio/video and lighting systems. The addition of mechanical black-out shades further enables elaborate musical and dramatic productions within the church space.
The main sanctuary seats 1,000 individuals, but with the foresight of future growth, it can be expanded to accommodate 1,750 worshippers through the incorporation of two balconies on either side. The careful planning ensures that the construction of these balconies can be seamlessly integrated with minimal disruption to the existing worship area and entrances.
During the initial phase of development, the campus features Nursery and Children’s Church Facilities, a welcoming Coffee Shop, versatile Multi-Purpose space, Office Areas, and, of course, the main sanctuary along with its supporting spaces. This comprehensive approach creates a conducive environment for spiritual growth, fellowship, and a vibrant worship community.
