A Beazley Architecture designed the new 23,645-square-foot production facility for Parish Brewing Co. in Broussard, Louisiana. Located directly behind the existing brewery and taproom at 229 Jared Drive, this major expansion will nearly double the brewery’s annual production capacity to 40,000 barrels, supporting continued growth and wider distribution across the South.

The facility features a striking two-story barrel vault entrance foyer inspired by the repurposed oak whiskey barrels Parish uses for its specialty one-off brews. A 2,500-square-foot mezzanine level houses offices, a conference room, and a creative think tank space, with an open balcony overlooking the entire production floor and designed to accommodate a future catwalk for guided tours.

The main level includes a 9,000-square-foot production floor for the new brewhouse, fermenters, and bright tanks, along with a central support area containing a laboratory, employee showers, breakroom, and workshop. The rear of the building provides 6,500 square feet of conditioned storage and staging space, including a new 2,300-square-foot walk-in cooler, all adjacent to a sunken loading dock that can accommodate up to three 18-wheelers at once.

Designed for maximum production efficiency with a warm rustic contemporary aesthetic, the new facility reflects Parish Brewing’s craft heritage while delivering the operational capabilities needed for the next phase of growth. Groundbreaking is scheduled for late May 2026, with Manuel Commercial serving as the Construction partner.

This project represents a significant investment in Acadiana’s craft brewing industry and showcases A Beazley Architecture’s ability to create functional, brand-driven industrial spaces that perform as beautifully as they look.
