In 2003, the design journey commenced with the collaborative efforts of Pastor Kenneth Lazard, Charles Beazley as the Architect of Record, and Adam Beazley. Initially, concept images were crafted to kickstart fundraising for the project, followed by the development of a schematic design for the church, crucial in supporting an ambitious capital program. By 2013, construction documents were finalized, and with a “pay-as-you-go” approach, the construction phase took off. Today, the church stands in its complete and intended form, a testament to the dedication and vision of all involved.
Within the facility, an impressive 700-seat auditorium stands as the heart of worship, providing ample space for the congregation to gather and connect. Church offices were thoughtfully incorporated to serve the administrative needs, and a warm fellowship cafe and kitchen create a welcoming atmosphere for members to gather, eat and share moments of fellowship.
With a focus on impacting the community positively, an extensive youth area was thoughtfully designed, reflecting the pastor’s vision to instigate positive change from within. This space becomes a nurturing ground for the young generation, fostering growth, and building strong foundations for the future.
The successful collaboration between Pastor Kenneth Lazard, Charles and Adam Beazley as the project manager brought this transformative project to life. Today, the completed Destiny of Faith Church stands as a beacon of hope and unity, embracing its role as a center for spiritual growth and positive change within the community it serves.
